TASCP
Texas Association of School Communication Providers
Introduction:
The Texas Association of School Communication Providers (TASCP) is an alliance of companies who commit to improving the safety of school campuses, by providing innovative and effective communication tools that can be used every day, as well as in an emergency.
Members are committed to growing the association of service and product providers, who are serious about providing the correct solutions to Texas schools, not just ad hoc solutions.
Purpose:
Our members are committed to providing brand agnostic, technically relevant advice on communication products relevant to school safety. This information will be provided to the state legislature of Texas, and other stakeholders in the school security and safety spaces.
To further define the purpose, the charter’s advice will aim to better protect school campuses by allowing their security technology platforms and emergency management services to connect and integrate with any other relevant communication products, easily and freely. The Association’s primary objective is to ensure effective communication policies are implemented across ISDs.
These policies will reflect the collective knowledge of TASCP’s constituent members and will represent best practice in the school safety and communications segment.
